    No significant differences of clinical manifestations or immunological changes were found between HIV-2 positive cases with or without these parasites in the stool (data not shown). One patient was infected with Schistosoma mansoni, a parasite considered rare in Guinea-Bissau (Gracio et al., 1992). No cases of Cyclospora cayetanensis, Dientamoeba fragilis or Giardia lamblia were found in either group.
